National Conference on Undergraduate Research
NCUR 2018: April 4 – 7 2018, at University of Central Oklahoma.
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research is a great venue for students to present the results of their research, scholarship and creative activities to other undergraduates in their field. The 32nd Annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research will be held at the University of Oklahoma. The conference dates are from April 4-7, 2018. Detailed information about the conference can be found at http://www.cur.org/conferences_and_events/student_events/ncur_2018/.
Students may receive funding from the Office of Student Research (OSR), school deans, departments, grant programs, honor societies or students may fund the trip themselves. The Office of Student Research at Truman State University coordinates travel for all Truman students attending NCUR, regardless of funding source.
Funding from the OSR for NCUR Travel
The OSR will provide travel grants to cover travel expenses, lodging, food, and registration for a limited number of students depending on funding to present their research, scholarship, and creative activities.
Funding from Other Sources
If you do not receive funding from the OSR or you are funded through other sources such as an external grant, the OSR will still coordinate travel, including registration, airline ticket purchase and hotel accomodations. All Truman students are part of the Truman delegation and responsible for following the Office of Student Research policies.
Suggestions for Non-OSR funding would be asking the School or Department associated with the research to help fund the NCUR trip.Other Truman Funding Sources for Student Research
